Pieces of His Light

Somehow so evident
placed on the altar
the living fire of the saints
their names raised
shared in the congregation
in loving memory

Pieces of His light
that which burns within
calling us to reverence
to worship our God
feeling His presence
in the congregation with the saints
who have gone before
