In Silent Meditation

In silent meditation
approaching the new year
reflecting on the things of the past
the things yet to be

Waiting in the quiet
the stillness of reflection
sensing You with us
a constant, strong presence

God we need You
we want to walk beside You
into the future with You
all the days of our lives

Knowing You have been with us
the walk of our lives
knowing You will be with us
until our days here are done
