In God’s Time

As has always been
whether or not we like this
as Christ told us directly
not for us to know

The end to come
we are just to be faithful
our oil ready
and our wicks trimmed just so

We must be on watch
conforming our spirits
walking as our Shepherd did
for we know not the time
