Would He Know Us

Would Christ recognize us
would we be his children
if today was his coming
would we be redeemed

Would our Savior
the call of our Shepherd
would we hear his voice
would we come when he called

We know not the time
but we should be ready
acting out of love
in all we say and do

We should be awake,
our lamps ever ready
looking for the signs
but acting in love
faithful to his call
