Slaves with Christ

Freed by Christ
from our past
the way of the world
Slaves with Christ
to God, submitting
giving of our wills
our lives given
given to God
His will for our lives
our lives no more
we are only the bodies
the gloves, the tissue
within which God’s will
God’s perfect love
alive, through us
if we submit, to God
like Christ in the garden
God’s vessel
poured out for the world.
