The Feet of the Messengers

The feet of the messengers
beautiful on the mountain
in the valleys, in the shadows
in the darkness of this world

Bring light, the message
the gospel of grace
by their hands and feet doing
the blessed work

Continuing Christ’s ministry
sharing the message
the gospel of grace
to heal the whole world

Carrying on, being the light
bearing our witness
to the ends of the earth

Beautiful Feet

We are standing on the mountain
following in his footsteps
on the path our savior took
while he walked upon the earth

Our feet beautiful
standing on the mountain
proclaiming the good news
Jesus came to earth

Our savior, our brother
walking as a man
God upon the earth
that we may live again

By his sacrifice, by his grace
taking on our sin
by dying and rising
death no more may sting

Being the feet of Christ
going where we are called
sharing his message of love
to the whole world, to all
