Sharing all we have
pooling our resources
trusting in God’s provision
all our needs fulfilled
would we still be chasing
the brass ring, the corner office
what would the American dream be
if we truly believed in God
if we believed his teaching
trusting in his provision
if the manna and quail came
if the flour and oil never ran out
what about the loaves and fishes
able to feed five thousand
how would we be different
if we truly believed in God
would we hold back
would we fill our silos
where would the need remain
if we listened to his calling
if we truly believed in God
would we leave the pews, the boat
would be stand upon the water
would we give all we had
and trusted in God’s provision
would the world be set apart
neighbor fighting neighbor
would war, and want and need
stalk this mortal planet
if we truly believed in God
