A divided mind

Our bodies, our selves
our identity as humans
a conundrum, a confusion
a system sometimes broken
A divided mind, our bodies
our reason, our emotions
torn between them
trying to make sense
to live in this world
social, ultra-social
upon one another
in our separateness
bonding only little
attachment within our circle
divided between justice
and our need to survive
