In Solidarity

In talking about family
what is important
using the words of Christ
who he said were his brothers,
his sisters, his mother
those who proclaimed the word
those who obeyed God

In solidarity to the others
those who are denied
those who are cast out
wearing stoles as we did
in sanctuary where we met
a larger family gathered
all to serve the Lord
