study the words of Christ

not just what he spoke aloud
listen to his words of action
study the words of Christ
dwell on his life
this is our hope
our model for living
to love as he loved
to lift our neighbor us
submitting our lives to God
drinking of that cup
whatever God will ask us
giving our will to him
study the words of our Savior
if we want to live
