what our eyes don’t believe

not having eyes of faith,
what our eyes don’t believe,
the rest of the story,
our keys to the kingdom
like the neighbors of Christ
unable to believe him
that he was revealing
God standing before them
bound by their eyes
what they thought they saw
unwilling, unable
to believe at all
