caustic waste

caustic waste of our lives
whether we know it or not
the choices, our words,
leave lasting scars

Vomit of the heart
our sins, our lives
if we choose the way of the flesh
when we stumble sometimes

caustic waste, this bile
the acid of our selfishness
leading us away from God
hurting our fellow man
