His words urgent
his pain palpable
even in reflection
crying for his people
the weak believers
rejecting the love of
Jesus
Wishing they would see
that these would
comprehend
the Word of God
come down as a Man
These who claim his name
the elect of God
yet failing to recognize
God’s own Son
walking here with us
