how can we be assured
to believe like the
disciples
seeing Christ alive
risen before them
how can we touch Jesus
alive, here with us,
risen from the dead
just as he promised
we are not in the upper
room
alive in those forty days
after the resurrection
before Christ’s ascension
we cannot touch Jesus
to believe by proof
before us
we must believe by faith
and share the gospel
story
we
can touch Jesus
our
brothers, our sisters
all
children of God
made
in God’s image
we
can touch Jesus
the
work what is important
to
be his hands and feet
to
be the good neighbor
we
touch the face of God
when
we touch our neighbors
God
still here with us
the
Holy Spirit within
we
can be assured
as
were the first disciples
blessed
because we believe by faith
not
merely by sight
