Tools for the Mission – v3

Commissioned by the Savior
to be his ambassadors, his emissaries
his missionaries in the world
Sharing the message
doing his work

Equipped for the service
tools for the mission
words of the scripture
The lessons of his life and
the power of the Spirit

Dwelling deep within our hearts
guiding us, counseling
infusing us with power
Empowering, equipping,
even when words will not come

Speaking for us,
from the depths of our hearts
lifting our concerns up to God
Giving us rest, peace
when we listen for his voice

Call to Worship: Psalm 104:31-33 (NIV)
Unison Prayer,
“Almighty God, Giver of knowledge and might, we come
before your throne to worship You in Spirit and truth. We
pray that your Spirit of illumination would fall upon us
gathered here today so that we may hear your still small
voice, guiding us as we sojourn through this world. May we
feel Your presence with us here today. Come Spirit, fill our
hearts this day. Amen”
