A way to understand them
each a separate star
in the sky, a thread
in the tapestry, the
pattern,
the gifts I feel called to
share
a constellation of light, me
my earthly journey, each one
At the center my faith in Him
my relationship with God
but all the rest
part of who I am
who I am meant to be
Not one single path
messier than this
grays, colors, blending
bleeding into one another
a more complicated hue
All of these needed for the
picture
the gifts all needed,
together
the whole of the tableaus
the threads of the tapestry,
all necessary
that there wouldn’t be a
missing piece
together alone the whole of
me
as God intended from the
start
