wanting to
lash out
to defend
my family
ignorant
words
slings and
arrows
falling on
them
judged by
appearance
on anger,
opinion
their facts
and figures
their bile
spewed
falling on
us
needing to
be forgiving
to choose
to walk away
to be more
fully Christ-like
in my words,
my actions
to not lash
out
joining in
the argument
mine not
the voice
to right
this wrong
I am
choosing to walk away
I leave it
to God.
