The
Spirit ringing
whispering
a prayer for us
calling
from deep within us
calling
us to open our hearts
and
feel the dove’s wings beating
The
same Spirit
descended
upon Jesus
bodily,
as if a dove,
entering
His heart
changing
His path
The
one same Spirit
landing
on the apostles
all
those gathered in the upper room
tongues
of fire descending
filling
their hearts
Listen
to the whisper
the
voice of God calling
the
fire within us yet
the
beating of the wings
within
the beating of our hearts
