as the chime was passed,
purposely, around the circle
sharing our days
our most important news
a recurring theme
breathed into the world
shared, excitedly,
a giggly word
Wiggly teeth
in glee, in wonder,
so many teeth
so many treasures
the Tooth Fairy had better
stock up on quarters,
because Pembroke children
will soon have teeth under
pillows
