We start, we begin
on fire for God,
ablaze with the Spirit
our hope alive;
Something happens
to quench the fire
our spirits flag
our flesh grows tired
We must recapture
our spirit’s fire,
we must rekindle
what we have lost;
We need to awake
God’s Spirit within us,
we must return
to our First Love
