A rank not exclusive
Not reserved for the pastors
as if they could carry the load
all of us in the priesthood
all of us spiritual teachers
called, commissioned by the Lord
to do Kingdom work
We are to go to the ends of the earth
spreading our Savior’s message
God’s love here with us
teaching them all about the Word
the story of God’s love
all of us commissioned
to do Kingdom work
We are to share with them
Especially with the children,
those new to the faith, new to believe
teaching them by our example
the way we walk on the earth
all of who are faithful, called,
to do the Kingdom work
We must not be proud
we must go humbly, as a servant,
following the example of Christ
submitting our lives to God
going as our Master
to live out the Savior’s call
to do the Kingdom’s work
