We must remember our history
our own experience
we remember the past
for a brighter future
Any hope for tomorrow
is grounded in yesterday
not floating on the waves
but anchored on living
waters
The streams of our past
our own history, our steps,
contain the promise of our
future,
in the fulfillment of
scripture
in the resurrection of
Christ.
