it is so easy to be caught up
in the heat of this moment
to be gathered in by the fear
by the anger that drives them
we are pulled astray, asunder,
from the path God laid before us
we must focus on Jesus
on the great commission,
on our calling from Him
we must be working
when He returns to judge
when He gathers His people home
