what would they see

the other part of the equation
the part that scared her
the feeling of not measuring up
of being unworthy
wanting them to see her
to really see her
not just the outside
but what was within
but what would they see
if they really saw her
would they welcome her
if they knew her past
would they look behind
her pain, her bad choices
would they see the hope
that God sees within her
not even just what
she sees herself
