a fallen broken world – v2

A fallen broken world,

all of us the seed of Adam,

condemned by our sin

the stain of our rebellion.

 

Our days numbered, counted,

our life, in this time,

a sojourn, a journey,

a traversing of these days

on a path of God’s making.

 

A fallen broken world,

but redeemed by our Savior,

eternal life after this life

walking home to the kingdom.
