chaos swirls around us

We are caught in the maelstrom,

chaos swirls around us;

We are tossed and turned,

as a boat in the storm.

 

We are called to the shoreline,

to the way of Christ Jesus;

We are to walk on the path

that God has already written.

 

We may be caught in the maelstrom

but chaos does not define us;

We called to the path,

to a way of hope, of purpose.
