Heal their Hearts – v2

Lord, at the right moment, Your perfect timing,
When our hearts are open, when You convict us,
You speak to our spirits in truth…
Draw us to confession, to repentance,
to ask for, to offer, Your healing word…
 
In the silence of my spirit, in worship,
as the pastor spoke to the congregation,
I heard Your still small voice,
a prayer for their hearts rising,
for those I have sinned against,
for those I have hurt deeply,
for Your glory and my good…
 
Heal their hearts as only You can
for the sins that I have committed,
gently touch them, Father, God…
Mitigate the harm I caused them,
though some may be years ago…
 
In ways that only You can, Lord,
root out the scars of my betrayal
every way I have hurt others,
following the ways of the world,
the sins of my flesh, my spirit,
that separated me from them…
Heal their hearts as only You can…
