If I believed God was righteous

If I believed God was righteous
that He was sovereign
I would not seek vengeance
against any enemy…
 
I would walk more humbly,
I would look inward, forgiving,
I would measure my sins
against the sacrifice of Christ…
 
Christ forgave us while dying
in pain on the rugged cross
Christ gave His life
to save the last, the least,
the lost, like me…
