I am happy to share the World Premiere of my new book, After Taras, based in the life and poetry of Taras Shevchenko, The Poet of Ukraine and the brave people of Ukraine.

WORLD PREMIERE: AFTER TARAS

After nearly two years of work, After Taras is now available on Amazon, and now I’m sharing the official cinematic book trailer.
Inspired by the legacy of Taras Shevchenko and dedicated to the brave people of Ukraine, After Taras is a collection of poems exploring courage, sacrifice, faith, hope, prayer, freedom, and the longing for peace.

If poetry can preserve history, give voice to the unheard, and remind us of the human stories behind the headlines, then After Taras is a book worth discovering.
🎬 Watch the trailer.
πŸ“š Discover After Taras.
πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ Share it with someone who may connect with its message.

afraid to pray – v4

Afraid to pray,
Lord, may I never be afraid
to pray, to lift up my life,
my concerns, my struggles;
Lord, may I never doubt
may I hear Your whisper
Your call upon my heart
Your joy within me

Afraid to pray,
Lord, may I never be afraid
to speak the impossible to You;
Knowing Your mighty works
feeling Your loving hand upon me
in all the trials of my life,
Knowing the impossible is easy
for You Almighty God

In Native Tongues – v4

The book, the story opened,
revealed in a blaze, an instant,
in fire on that morning
in words impossible
languages unknown
(to those who were speaking)
made accessible, reachable
in native tongues, in words understood
by the believers gathered
those faithful in Jerusalem

The words of ancient scripture
come alive before them,
the power of that Pentecost
meeting each where they were
spreading God’s love, His truth
His message of reconciliation;
The disciples commissioned
empowered, emboldened,
evangelists now, fishermen speaking
in each one’s native tongue
