alive within our mouths

walking more humbly

being certain to offer love

for love is what I want

no more division

little hurts that add up

We each have a tongue

but a small part of the body

a great fire, a small park

a rudder over us

The tongue can lead us away from God

into the bloody deep

a fire, up from hell,

filled with poison

Yet the tongue is able to bring us to praise

to sing our joy to God
