how can we kill another

how can we stand in judgment

how can we be silent

in the face of injustice

if God knows us, truly,

if we believe these words of scripture

if we believe God’s promises are true

God said He numbered our days

that He knows the hairs on our head

that He knew us, before the beginning of time

as we were formed in our mother’s womb

how can we act this way

to our sisters, our brothers

As we look back on history

we see the truth of prophecy

the ten kingdoms that would rise

marking the end times

Fulfilling the vision of Daniel

those opposed to God, to Christ,

the ones that would rise, crumble

that would return to the dust.

Which are the ten empires,

who are the ten kings,

how many have run their course

how many are to come;

Which of the end times

are we journeying in now;

The battle is already raging

but which time are we in today?
