A small sacred, holy space
cloistered in the edge of the woods
a place for reflection, meditation
for fellowship and calming
settling into the arms of the creation
the quiet of the pines
the smell of blueberry and moss
of birth, flowering, decay
the cycle of life
ordered and balanced
stilling our spirits
in the subtle tranquility
centering us
so we can hear God
