spilled over
washed over me

ideas to communicate the feelings
the sense of urgency
the covenant
the unity
the communion of creation
our place in the web
fealty to our cousins,
the earth, our brothers
the birds, our extended family
coral reefs, jellyfish
the rocks

The consequence of the sermon today by the Reverend Lorene E. Eldredge, Wesley United Methodist Church, Concord, NH – "Soul Feast: The Bread of Life". I was inspired to write down 11 poem titles, in addition to this one which came to me as I was driving home from church. For the whole day, I ended up writing 16 poems.
