They were outsiders, just as the foreigner
unclean, by their sins, unable
barred from the fellowship
from the temple
in the outer darkness
needing the intervening
the sacrifice and ritual
the priests to be made clean
to enter in once more
He was the new high priest
a personal, direct, saving
without an intermediary
being made clean, in supplication
praying to God
Falling at His feet in praise
