Scattering joy like seeds,
this is how I feel, sharing the words
these gifts I am given by the Lord
the poems of praise, of hope, of joy
messages of God’s love, of his wanting
His desire for relationship with us
each one of us, precious in his sight,
known from before we were born,
each day numbered, treasured, in His heart
the potter knowing the clay, the firing at the last
our days known, our saving assured
if we let that seed germinate, grow
growing in our hearts, our lives
in the words we share, in the love we give
in our hands, our feet, giving of ourselves
we leave to serve, the Spirit welling up
within us, the love of God written on our lives
