An offering, on the table, the altar of faith
sharing His bread, His cup, all of us
around the work, pilgrims, witnesses
sharing the body, the blood, in remembrance
all of us equal, all welcome, humbly around His table
we fall silent, smile broadly, in recognition
the gift undeserved, by grace alone
fed at His table, with His love
poured out for many, each one of us
all of us, wherever we are, around the world
