In silence, in reverence, in prayer
A stillness, serenity calling us, each of us
sitting, expectantly, silently
being in His presence, His candle lit
prayerfully centered, reverently waiting
Calming ourselves, set apart
letting the early-morning sun
wash over me, this page
writing these few lines
a murmur in my spirit
wondering what will be
on this journey this day
