Outrageous nonsense, dead
so do the translations resound
faith without works
a nullity, a lie
we are to act out our faith
live the love Christ shared
be his hands, his feet,
his voice crying out
in the wilderness,
in this wilderness
in the place God has planted us
where we are to grow
to bear fruit
worthy of the name we claim
acting as Christians
the proof of our words
disciples, Christians
in more than name only
