Two messages in the words of James
equally hard, difficult to live out;
but at the heart of our faith
that we are not to judge,
sinners as we are,
equal in the eyes of God
and that we are to act,
that faith in words alone
this is dead, lifeless
not worthy
of the name of Christ
We are to live out his love
to share his caring touch
to live as he lived
going into the world
in his name alone.
