We are to be like the first Christians
going when the savior calls
offering hospitality, sharing His message
changing their world, ours in the process
Being a Christian, all of our moments
all of our days
talking, witnessing, sharing
through our words, our actions
like the first Christians
welcoming all into the faith
all those searching, hurting
needing the loving presence
the relationship with God
promised in the life of Christ
by his sacrifice and his ascension
