The door of the church,
facing the morning sunshine
a single ladybug
gracing our window
Walking, her body warming
the edge of the orange
glimmering in the sun
like the corona
of a solar eclipse
Slowing moving
walking circuitously
following an unwritten path
across the expanse of glass
