My sin, my history
bottled up within me
a cancer growing
eating at my soul
A weight inside
I carried with me
long time coming
to set myself free
Confessing my sin
offered to my savior
humbly coming
before almighty God
The burden lifted
the pain I carried
my sins forgiven
because I believe
