In the darkness of this world
in our times of trial
crying out for justice
for food for our tables
Where is our joy
the hope in this season
the cold coming closer in
the warring of the nations
Our hope, our joy
the reason for our light shining
our peace in the storms
our comfort in warring
All of our hope, our joy
the reason,
all of the love
in the person of Jesus
Descending from heaven
healing our brokenness
coming to die
to save all people
In God, our Maker
our Savior, our Brother
walking with us,
showing us the way
In the person of Jesus
our joy complete
redeeming us to God
healing our brokenness
