The Song of those Angels

The shepherds shocked
scared in the night
angels descending
setting the sky alight

Afire with their beating
the fingers of their wings
their voices singing
of the coming of the King

The Messiah born
alive in Bethlehem town
the song of the angels
shaking the very ground

Leading them to go
to see the amazing sight
Emmanuel come to earth
bathed in heavenly light
