Each of Us Coming

Each of us on this journey
this journey of waiting
each of us coming
coming before the Christ-child
family, yet strangers

Each with baggage
with hearts conflicted
torn between the world
and the way of servanthood

Each of us coming
coming before our Savior
bowing by the manger
his humble stable bed

Each of us on this journey
expectant, waiting
for the healing of all nations
all people, together, family
no longer strangers
coming together
to see our King and Savior
