Ever Seeking Jesus

We are humbly waiting
ever seeking Jesus
the power of God’s Word
alive in the person of Jesus

Waiting in this season
shedding the world
humbly seeking him
in Your Holy Word

Coming before You
the babe in the manger
the man who climbed the cross
in humble sacrifice

Seeking You ever
Your Presence with me
guiding my steps in this life
leading me home to Jesus

Not by bread
fed by his words
offering hope
a way through the troubles
a place beyond this world

His message, his life
giving a different direction
Love, not power
caring, not wealth
the way of the Lord

Hungry people

to where he would land
going before him
