Savior of the World

The angel’s message
the Love of God descending
the Savior of the world
born that night
in the city of David
in lowly Bethlehem town
the babe in the bands of cloth
laid in a manger
in the stable bed
the foretold Messiah
come down from heaven
Nothing would be the same,
nothing on the earth
