Hurrying to Jesus
In the dark of night
leaving their flocks on the hillside
going at the news
the blessed Savior’s birth
Hurrying to Jesus
to His stable bed
bowing before our King
with nothing in their hands
Sharing with others
all near and far
telling them of Jesus
the one who was foretold
Sharing the good news
our Messiah come to the earth
God alive in human flesh
come to save the world
