Welcoming Strangers – 2

Our lives in witness
to share the joy within us
the love of God for us
giving us reason to sing
to share the love of Jesus
to bear eternal witness
the redeeming of our Savior
bringing us before God
humble, yet certain
that he died to set us free

Needing to share this witness
to offer all we meet Jesus
welcoming strangers to us
as if they were angels
as if they were Jesus
standing right before us
treating them as our brothers
our sisters of long standing
opening our hearts, our doors
our lives that they would be connected
healed, like us, by Jesus
the reason for this season
the joy dripping from our lips
the love of our Savior
pouring out of us
