So Richly Blessed

We, all of us,
gathered round
coming to the manger
as the days come to an end
an end to our waiting
so richly blessed
in the coming of Jesus

We, all of us,
looking toward Bethlehem
toward that star in the heavens
hearing the angels’ call
Leading us there
into His presence
the wonder of His coming
down to the earth

We, all of us,
like the shepherds, the Magi
offering praise to our God
Humbly coming,
bowing before Him
offering our gifts, our all
humble to God
